Two-Year Period Modifications of the Four-Year State Local Plan Public Review and Comment
The Northern Indiana Workforce Board (NIWB) is inviting public review and comment on proposed two-year updates to its four-year state local plan, as required by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The plan must address current and future strategies and efficiencies that advance the continuing modernization of the workforce system by creating an efficient, accessible, and customer-centered approach to service delivery.
The Northern Indiana Workforce Board (NIWB) oversees workforce development activities across a five-county region in Northern Indiana. Services are delivered through American Job Centers, which are branded in Indiana as WorkOne. Region 2 WorkOne offices are in Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties.
